Atlanta Power Hour Intro
You can’t just go on a vacation; you have to give it a movie trailer first. For a trip to Atlanta, I cut together stock footage of the city with clips from the music festival we attended. I had a blast throwing the kitchen sink at this one: overlays, masking, sound effects, and a ton of other visual effects to capture the energy of the trip. The goal was to create something that felt as big and exciting as the vacation itself.
Lowball Brand Reveal
The challenge: create a killer launch video for Lowball’s rebrand with almost no existing footage. My solution: do a little bit of everything. I mixed a few authentic clips with royalty-free content, wrote the script, hired a voiceover artist, and animated the rest. This project was a true “soup-to-nuts” production and a great example of building a compelling story from scratch.
Harmonic Instruments Promo
After designing the logo and identity for my senior thesis, Harmonic Instruments, the next step was to make it breathe. This promotional piece was all about bringing the brand to life. I shot everything myself, on location in a small music shop and in a studio, featuring instruments I actually designed and branded for the project. From the first shot to the final edit, I handled all production and post-production, right down to hiring and directing the voiceover talent to get the perfect atmospheric tone.
Five For Fightin’ Demo Reel
This demo reel is a look at what happens when you have more creativity than budget. The shoot for the Five For Fightin’ podcast was a classic scrappy, one-man-band production. My crew was basically me, myself, and I: setting up multiple cameras and mics, running a slider for some dynamic motion, and doing my best to make the lighting look good. The real magic happened in post, where I built the custom graphics and animations that pulled it all together and gave it that professional polish.
Never Fade Us Demo Animation
The problem: how do you get people to stop scrolling for an audio clip? You make the sound visible. For the Never Fade Us podcast, I took a static graphic and brought it to life by adding a dynamic sound-bar animation that actually reacts to the speaker’s volume. It’s a simple but incredibly effective way to turn an audio-only asset into something visually engaging that demands a little more attention.
Reel Deal Chatter Promo Short
Sometimes a project means trading my desk for a day at a local pond, which is a trade I’ll take every time. This was a super fun shoot for the startup fishing brand, Reel Deal Chatter. I spent the day capturing footage on-site and then jumped into the edit to craft a high-energy promotional piece. The whole goal was to bottle up that excitement and build some serious hype for their launch.
