Cosmo The Bus Logo

Cosmo The Bus Logo

It’s not every day you get asked to design a logo for a couple hitting the road in a bus they turned into their home. This was one of those projects that was just a blast from start to finish.

Scotch-Ness Monster

This project is the result of my brain making a connection it probably didn’t need to: The Loch Ness Monster, but in a glass of scotch. I leaned into it and designed this clean, fun illustration for apparel. It’s a little bit witty, a little bit weird, and hopefully makes people do a double-take.

Pope Hudunkachud Mascot Logo

Sometimes my job is beautifully strange. Case in point: I was asked to design a mascot logo for a gaming page called Pope Hudunkachud. The creative challenge was blending man’s best friend with church-inspired elements, and I’m thrilled with how this playful and distinctive little guy turned out.

Lincoln Alabamus

As a musician myself, getting to design a logo for a band is always a treat. For the folk group Lincoln Alabamus, the goal was to create something that looked the way their music sounds. They had a great vision for a rustic, handcrafted vibe with plenty of decorative details, and I had a great time bringing it to life!

Harmonic Instruments

My senior thesis project, Harmonic Instruments, was a deep dive into branding. The logo mashes up a wolf (for a natural, harmonious vibe) with a triangle (for stability and precision). It’s all about representing authentic craftsmanship through a clean, symbolic design, and it’s still one of my favorite projects.

Money Mike

This one started out as a personal project, just a fun exploration into character-driven branding. I designed a mascot for the influencer Money Mike, aiming for something playful that still felt distinctive. The best part? He saw it, loved it, and adopted it as his profile picture. There’s no better feeling than when a “just for fun” design finds a real home.

Scumbag Foodies

When a blog calls itself “Scumbag Foodies,” you know the logo isn’t going to be a delicate sprig of parsley. This was an incredibly fun project aimed at poking fun at pretentious food culture. The solution felt obvious: a raunchy, unapologetic cheeseburger smoking a cigarette. It’s a logo that’s every bit as irreverent and tongue-in-cheek as the brand it represents.

Lax Wax

Surf brands need a certain edge, and Lax Wax was no exception. The client requested skeleton hands, and I ran with it, creating a logo that’s bold, simple, and a little bit rebellious. The whole goal was to design a mark that feels right at home in the surf scene, a perfect fit for an adventurous brand.

Lowball

This project for the sports blog Lowball was a total blast from the past. The vision was a full-on ’80s retro aesthetic, so I designed a logo centered on a literal lowball glass. Using a patriotic color palette, the whole thing is meant to feel energetic and playful. It’s got that great nostalgic style but with a bold, modern edge that keeps it fresh.

The Warning Track

One of the best parts of working with a brand is getting to help it grow. After designing the main logo for Lowball, I got to create the identity for their baseball podcast, The Warning Track. The fun puzzle here was designing a logo that felt unique to the podcast while still living comfortably in the Lowball universe. It’s got that same energetic tone, just with its own sporty spin.

Never Fade Us

How do you make a logo scream “basketball” but also clearly say “podcast”? That was the fun puzzle for Lowball’s “Never Fade Us” podcast. My solution was to combine a classic, sporty shield shape with some EQ-style sound levels. It gives you that athletic energy while giving a direct nod to the audio format, all in one clean design.

Five For Fightin’

The final piece of the Lowball podcast puzzle was a logo for their hockey show, “Five For Fightin’.” The approach was simple: create something that’s unmistakably hockey. The shield, puck, and crossed sticks combo delivers a bold, professional look that’s ready to hit the ice.

Four Brothers Ice Cream

This was one of those projects where the concept just clicks. For Four Brothers Ice Cream, the idea was simple and fun: represent the four founding brothers as a team of ice cream cones. I had a blast bringing these characters to life and paired them with some rounded typography to really sell the brand’s friendly, approachable personality. The result is a logo that’s playful and memorable.

The Buddies

You know a brand is built on love when the logo features the owner’s actual dog. This was an awesome project for The Buddies, a dog care and walking service, where we immortalized their beloved Pomeranian in the logo to create a super personal mark. The “Woof Wag Walk” tagline was the perfect finishing touch, resulting in a friendly, approachable design for a friendly, reliable service.

Paws In The Park

My design brief for this project was basically to defy the natural order of the universe: create a logo for an event that brings cats and dogs together in one park. It was crucial to feature both animals to show that all pets are welcome. I aimed for a playful, outdoor vibe that gets everyone excited. It’s a fun, engaging look for attendees, sponsors, and maybe even a few brave cats.

Midnight Harvest

When a band calls itself Midnight Harvest, you know the vibe needs to be just right. This was a great project for a folk rock group where the goal was to capture their atmospheric sound visually. I designed this logo featuring a moon and a tree-lined skyline to create a moody, organic aesthetic that feels just like their music sounds: a little rustic and full of soul.

Norseman Fitness

For Norseman Fitness, I wanted a logo that was strong but not complicated. This minimalistic Norseman icon, paired with a bold font, gets straight to the point. He’s the perfect, stoic mascot to stare at you from the side of a kettlebell, silently judging your form. The whole design is super versatile, conveying strength and confidence no matter where you put it.

Caroll County Vinyl Records

You don’t need a lot of noise when you’re selling something as classic as vinyl. For this local record shop, Carroll County Vinyl Records, we went with a clean, minimalistic logo. The idea was to create a modern and versatile mark that still felt as simple and timeless as the act of dropping a needle on a great album.

The Occult

My big COVID project wasn’t binging Tiger King; it was launching this spooky brand, The Occult, to share all things morbid and intriguing. When it came to the logo, I wanted to avoid the cheesy stuff, so I landed on a skull door knocker as the central symbol. To give it that modern, digital horror vibe, I threw in a glitch effect. It’s eerie and engaging without a single generic ghost in sight.

The Crisis Monster

My way of processing the sheer absurdity of the great toilet paper shortage of 2020 was, naturally, to turn it into a monster. As a huge Godzilla fan, I felt it was my civic duty to introduce a new kaiju to the world: The Crisis Monster, a beast made entirely of precious TP. This sticker was a fun way to create a satirical, bold illustration that playfully pokes fun at one of the weirdest chapters in recent history.

PUB PAISAN

Some projects are more personal than others, and this one was for my favorite client: my dad. We had a clear division of labor for his basement bar, Pub Paisan: he handled the sawdust and power tools, and I was in charge of giving the place some personality. I designed a logo with a rustic, handcrafted vibe to match his work, making sure it was versatile enough to look great on coasters, etched menus, and anything else a proper bar needs. It’s one of my all-time favorite projects.
